Photoshoot of puppy is something out of the ordinary.
Although everyone thinks that it's so easy to take puppies and take pictures.
We need to collect at least three or four people (in our case it's me - the breeder and the handler in one person, our friend - a photographer, my mother - a driver and an assistant).
Choose a dislocation, and if it is outside the premises, then it is to be sure beforehand that in this place the public walking of animals is not carried out. Puppies can easily catch an infection.
Wash all the puppies, and if it is done in the evening, then try to keep them in their pure form until the moment of photo shoot, and this is not always easy.
Take with you the necessary things - box, diapers, a cup for water, water, a slicker or comb, wet wipes just in case.
Many breeders photograph puppies in the stacks starting at 4.5 weeks. Typically to an ordinary buyer is not so important. If your goal is to sell the puppy to show hands and/or to the breeder, then it is necessary. Although in this case, the video will be more effective, especially the movements.
We photograph puppies in the stacks more for ourselves, our observations and statistics.
Some believe that a photos of puppies up to 8 weeks in general is not advisable to do and spread.
We do not quite agree with this. Any buyer is interested to see what the puppy was, the stages of his growth and development. Even if it have a form of sentimentality.
To put a puppy in a stack, you will need a flat surface (for example, a table or ground). Carrying a puppy with something delicious, at this moment you can rearrange its front and rear legs to the position of the stack. They must be parallel to each other and perpendicular to the body. Pasterns and metatarsals in relation to the surface on which the puppy stands, ideally should form a right angle. Take care that the puppy does not rearrange them, if necessary, adding a treat. If the puppy has moved one or several paws, just continuing to give him a delicious, put the paws in the required position.
The rest of the photos are not limited to the manifestation of your imagination. It can be portraits sitting, photo of front, photo on hands, also movement or playing puppies, group photo, etc.
If this is a studio, think in advance about the necessary props.
